Organic lane network
Streets grew around compounds and footpaths instead of a planned grid. The result is an irregular, branching pattern that looks almost hand-drawn.

Pindiga Map Poster & Print
Pindiga lies in Gombe State in north-eastern Nigeria, in open savanna on the edge of the upper Benue basin. From above, the town is a loose cluster of compounds and lanes gathered around a few main roads. The built-up area fades gradually into cultivated land, with no hard edge between the two.
Seasonal streams cross the surrounding countryside and show up on the map as thin, winding lines that swell in the rainy season. The street pattern is informal, shaped by walking routes and household plots rather than a planned grid. Scattered buildings reach out along the roads leading to neighbouring towns.
The town's name is known to geologists: the Pindiga Formation, a Cretaceous rock sequence in the Benue Trough, is named after it. A Pindiga map poster offers a quieter subject, the everyday layout of a savanna town drawn in fine black lines.

Seasonal watercourses
Thin streams wind through the surrounding farmland. On the print they add soft curves against the scattered buildings.

Pindigaを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
For families from Pindiga, at home or abroad, this map pins down one specific place: the roads they know, the compound where they grew up, the path out to the fields. Few printed maps show it at all.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line are all editable, so you can add a family name or a date. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to match the room.
