Polonuevo Map Poster & Print
Polonuevo is a municipality in the Colombian department of Atlántico, a short distance south-west of Barranquilla. The land here is low and warm and lies on the Caribbean coastal plain. From above, the town is a small, orderly grid of blocks, with roads leading off to neighbouring municipalities and rural areas beyond.
The grid follows the Spanish colonial model found across the region, with a central plaza surrounded by regular blocks. Around it, pasture and farmland spread out, crossed by small streams and dotted with ponds and marshy areas that fill during the rainy season.
A Polonuevo map poster shows that neat, compact grid clearly, surrounded by quieter countryside lines. The contrast between the town's right angles and the loose shapes of the water and fields around it makes a simple, balanced composition that suits a small-town portrait.

Rural roads
A few roads lead out toward Barranquilla and neighbouring towns. They form clear lines that connect the grid to the wider region.
Seasonal water
Small streams and low wet areas around the town appear as irregular shapes, softening the edges of the composition.
