Winding lanes
Roads bend around fields and slopes, forming a loose web rather than a grid, which gives the map an unusually organic look.

Ponmana Map Poster & Print
Ponmana lies in Kanyakumari district, near the southern tip of India, where the plains meet the foothills of the Western Ghats. The landscape is green and well watered, and on a map the settlement looks less like a single dense town than a network of lanes linking houses, fields and plantations.
Roads curve with the terrain rather than following a grid, and small water bodies and irrigation channels appear between the built areas. The pattern is soft and irregular, typical of this corner of the state.
A Ponmana map poster renders all of this in fine black lines: winding roads, scattered clusters of streets and the outlines of water. It is a delicate, organic image, well suited to a quiet wall.

Water in the landscape
Ponds, tanks and channels appear between settlements, reflecting a region where rainfall and irrigation shape land use.
Foothill setting
Toward the north and east the ground rises toward the Western Ghats, and the road pattern grows sparser as the terrain climbs.
