Regular grid
The town centre is laid out in straight streets and square blocks. This clear, orderly pattern reads especially well in a minimalist print.

Promissão Map Poster & Print
Promissão lies in the north-western interior of São Paulo state, in rolling farm country cut by the Tietê River. From above, the town is laid out on a clear, regular grid of blocks, typical of the towns that grew along the railways of interior São Paulo. The urban area is compact, and its streets end neatly where fields and pasture begin.
To the north, the Tietê has been dammed to form a long reservoir, and its broad, branching shape dominates the regional map. Its arms reach into side valleys, creating an intricate shoreline that contrasts with the right angles of the town. Around the water, sugar cane fields and pasture give the land a smooth, open texture.
Promissão is known in the region for its links to Japanese immigration, part of the wider story of the São Paulo interior. A Promissão map poster presents the town as a tidy grid framed by water and farmland. It is an understated portrait of a place shaped by both settlement and river.

Tietê reservoir
North of town, the dammed Tietê River spreads into a wide reservoir. Its long arms reach into side valleys, forming a complex, flowing shoreline.
Rural surroundings
Beyond the grid, the land opens into farmland crossed by rural roads, giving the edges of the map a calm and spacious feel.
