Rāmshīr Map Poster & Print
Rāmshīr lies in Khuzestan province in southwestern Iran, on the broad, low alluvial plain that stretches toward the Persian Gulf. On a map, the town is a compact block of streets set in wide, level country. There is almost no relief, and the lines of roads and water are free to run long and straight.
The street pattern is largely regular, with main roads crossing the centre and residential blocks filling the spaces between them. Around the town, farmland and irrigation works divide the plain into long parcels, with water channels drawn as thin lines across the landscape. Roads lead out toward Ahvaz and other towns of the province.
A Rāmshīr map poster reflects that lowland geometry: a dense centre, straight approach roads and a wide, open surrounding plain. It is a spare composition. For anyone from the town, the familiar shapes of streets and fields are easy to find on it.

Irrigation lines
Water channels and field boundaries run across the plain, adding fine parallel strokes to the open space around the town.
Flat alluvial plain
With almost no hills in the frame, the landscape stays open and even, and the town stands out as a clearly defined shape.
