Rishton Map Poster & Print
Rishton lies in the southern Fergana Valley in eastern Uzbekistan, close to the border with Kyrgyzstan. On a map the town is surrounded by irrigated farmland. Canals and field boundaries run between orchards, and the streets gather around a central core.
The town is famous across Central Asia for its ceramics. Rishton pottery, with its deep blue and turquoise glazes, has been made here for centuries using the local red clay, and several workshops still pass the craft down through families. That heritage is a large part of the town's identity.
A Rishton map poster shows a valley town shaped by water and cultivation. There are lanes and blocks in the centre, canals feeding the fields around it, and a flat, carefully divided landscape stretching toward the mountains beyond.
