Rivera Map Poster & Print
Rivera is a municipality in the Huila Department of Colombia, set on the eastern side of the upper Magdalena valley just south of Neiva. The town centre follows a regular grid around a main plaza, a pattern shared with many Colombian towns, while roads climb toward the foothills of the Eastern Cordillera behind it.
The town is named after José Eustasio Rivera, author of the novel La vorágine, who was born in the area. It is also known for its hot springs, which draw visitors from across the region. On the map, rural roads lead away from the grid toward the springs, farms and hills.
A Rivera map poster shows a compact, orderly town set against a much wilder landscape. The grid reads cleanly at the centre, streams and valleys wind across the slopes, and the road to Neiva forms a long connecting line. It is a small place, but its setting gives the map real depth.

Roads leave the grid and climb toward the Eastern Cordillera, curving along ridges and valleys that lead to farms and hot springs.
Magdalena valley
The town sits near the broad valley of the Magdalena, whose flat land opens westward and links Rivera to Neiva and the rest of Huila.
