Rodolfo Sánchez Taboada is a town in the municipality of Ensenada in Baja California, a short distance south of the port city. It sits in an agricultural valley near the Pacific coast. The Transpeninsular Highway, the main road running down the Baja California peninsula, passes nearby.
On a map, the town appears as a loose grid of streets surrounded by cultivated land. The field boundaries form a patchwork of rectangles that extends toward the coast. Dry hills rise around the edges of the valley. Farther west, the land narrows toward the Punta Banda peninsula and the bay.
