Ropczyce Map Poster & Print
Ropczyce is a small town in Poland's Subcarpathian region, between Dębica and Rzeszów. It lies in the valley of the Wielopolka River, which runs through the town and gives the map a gently winding line of water. The land rises toward rolling hills to the south, where fields and village roads spread across the higher ground.
Like many towns in southern Poland, Ropczyce grew around a market square, and the old centre still reads clearly on the map as a rectangle with streets leaving from its corners. The town received its charter in the fourteenth century, which makes it one of the older urban centres in the region. Housing estates and industrial sites were added around this core later.

Wielopolka valley
The river winds through the town from the southern hills. It adds a soft curve of water and a strip of green along its banks.
East–west corridor
The railway and main roads between Kraków and Rzeszów pass close to the town. They draw long, straight lines that set the older centre against modern infrastructure.
