Meeting of two rivers
The Paranapanema flows into the Paraná at the edge of the municipality. The two broad bodies of water fill much of the poster with open space.

Rosana Map Poster & Print
Rosana occupies the far western tip of São Paulo state, where the Paranapanema River joins the Paraná, and water dominates the map. Broad river channels, islands and reservoir shores surround the town on several sides, and the land between them is flat and open. The urban grid is small and regular, a planned layout set in a very large landscape.
The municipality includes the district of Primavera, which grew alongside the construction of the Porto Primavera hydroelectric dam on the Paraná. The dam's long embankment and the reservoir behind it changed the geography of the area and are the region's most striking feature on any map. Across the river lies Mato Grosso do Sul.
A Rosana map poster shows a town defined by rivers at a scale few places can match. The wide channels become large shapes in the print, framing the tidy street blocks and the long straight line of the dam, which makes for a bold and unusual composition.

Porto Primavera dam
The dam's embankment crosses the Paraná in a long, straight line. It is one of the most distinctive human-made shapes in the region, clearly legible from above.
Planned street grid
Rosana's streets form a neat, regular grid. Against the irregular water shapes around it, this reads as a small, precise pattern on the plain.

Rosanaを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
For people who lived through the years of the dam or grew up in Primavera, this map records how a river landscape became a home. It also appeals to anyone drawn to rivers, borders and places at the edge of a state.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line are all yours to set. Blueprint gives the rivers a technical, engineered feel, while Paper and Sand are softer. The $9 digital files come without a watermark in six sizes, and printed posters can be framed in wood.
