Seara lies in the rolling interior of western Santa Catarina, where the ground rarely stays flat for long. From above, the town is a compact centre on uneven terrain. Many of its streets follow the contours instead of running in straight lines. Around it, rural roads run between farm plots and wooded creek beds, which gives the edges of the map a loose, branching texture.
Many people know the name from outside the region, because the Seara food brand takes it from the town where the company began. Agro-industry is still a large part of local life. On the map this shows as bigger industrial footprints and service roads sitting close to the houses, with a few roads leading out to the neighbouring municipalities.
A Seara map poster works best at a scale that shows both the town centre and the first ring of hills. In black and white, the winding roads become fine, flowing lines, and the blocks between them form an irregular mosaic. It looks quite different from the neat grids of many Brazilian cities.
