Sidi Abdelli is a town in Tlemcen province in northwestern Algeria, in the hill country northeast of the city of Tlemcen. From above, it is a compact settlement surrounded by cultivated land. Fields, orchards and olive groves divide the slopes into irregular plots, and roads connect the town to the wider province.
The town's streets form a modest network. There is a denser centre, with newer housing spreading along the main routes. The terrain around it rolls rather than rises sharply, so the farmland around town looks like a quilt of plots rather than terraces. Small watercourses and valleys add winding lines between the fields.
Tlemcen province is known for its long history as a centre of scholarship and architecture in the Maghreb.
