Snizhne Map Poster & Print
Snizhne lies in the eastern Donbas, close to the border with Russia, in rolling steppe shaped by more than a century of coal mining. The town is not one compact grid. On a map it appears as a series of settlements that grew around individual mines, joined by roads across open land that shows as pale space between the built-up areas.
The layout reflects the town's industrial history. Workers' housing was built in straight rows and small blocks near each pit, and the pits themselves left spoil heaps that still stand above the surrounding land. The town is part of a chain of mining centres along the Donets Ridge.
A Snizhne map poster records that scattered, practical geometry. Clusters of streets sit apart from each other with rail spurs and roads between them, and wide gaps mark where the mines once stood. The overall shape comes from work, not planning, which makes it very different from a typical European town centre.

Railway lines and main roads link the parts of the town and head toward the other mining towns nearby. They provide the longest continuous lines on the map.
Open steppe
Between and around the built-up areas, the map is mostly empty. That open ground frames the town and gives a sense of the wide, rolling landscape of the eastern Donbas.
