Mount Damota
The mountain rises directly above the town to the north, and its slopes set the direction of the streets, which run downhill and outward across the map.

Sodo Map Poster & Print
Sodo, often called Wolaita Sodo, is the main town of the Wolaita area in southern Ethiopia. It sits on sloping ground at the foot of Mount Damota, and the map shows streets arranged on a gradient, with main roads leading down and away toward neighbouring towns while smaller lanes wind between homesteads and gardens on the lower slopes.
The surrounding countryside is densely farmed, and on a wider view the town's edges blur into a patchwork of small plots and scattered houses. Sodo is a regional centre for education, health and trade, home to Wolaita Sodo University, and it has grown steadily as people move in from the surrounding highlands.
A Sodo map poster offers a calm portrait of a highland town shaped by its mountain setting, with the roads fanning out below Damota and the farmland pressing close on every side. It is a fitting gift for people from Wolaita, for graduates of the university, and for those who have worked in the region.

Radiating roads
Main roads leave the centre toward neighbouring towns in several directions, forming the strongest lines on the map and giving Sodo a loose, star-like shape.
Farmed hillsides
Around the town, small fields and scattered homesteads cover the hills, so the urban edge fades gradually into a fine rural texture.
