Lane network
A fine, irregular mesh of narrow lanes fills the blocks. The result is one of the densest street textures in the city, and it is rewarding to look at up close.

Sultan Pur Majra Map Poster & Print
Sultan Pur Majra lies in the northwest of Delhi, in the ring of former villages that the growing city has absorbed. From above, it is one of the densest kinds of urban fabric you can map. Narrow lanes branch and turn inside blocks set by a few wider roads, and there are almost no gaps between buildings.
Settlements like this began as village land and filled in quickly as Delhi expanded. That history shows in the map. The older lanes are irregular, with the logic of footpaths between fields, while the newer planned colonies next to them follow straighter lines. The contrast between the two patterns is the most distinctive thing about the area.
A Sultan Pur Majra map poster turns this density into an intricate texture. At the right scale the lanes form an almost woven surface, broken only by the wider roads and occasional open ground. It is a map for people who know these streets closely and want the specific place on the wall, not a generic image of Delhi.

Arterial frame
A handful of wider roads frame the dense core. They give the composition clear edges and connect the area to the rest of northwest Delhi.
Village and colony
Irregular lanes that follow the old village layout sit beside straighter planned colonies. The contrast in patterns shows how the area grew.
