Tewulike Map Poster & Print
Tewulike lies in central Xinjiang, in the Yanqi basin between the Tianshan foothills and the lowlands around Korla. Water from the mountains supports irrigated farming here, so the settlement sits inside a green patch surrounded by much drier country.
From above, the town appears as a set of straight streets and rectangular blocks, the planned pattern common across the region. Around it, fields form long parallel strips edged by canals and shelter belts. Past the cultivated land, the map empties toward desert and mountain slopes.
A Tewulike map poster shows the basic logic of an oasis: water brought across dry land, streets and fields laid out in straight lines, and open ground beyond. The drawing is spare but carries a lot of the landscape, which suits those who know the basin.

Field strips
Irrigated fields stretch out from town in long, parallel parcels divided by channels and tree lines, adding a strong rhythm to the map.
Dry margins
Beyond the farmland the land opens into sparse, empty ground, which frames the oasis and shows how much depends on water.
