Tipton Map Poster & Print
Tipton sits in the heart of the Black Country in the West Midlands, and its map is defined by canals. Branches of the Birmingham Canal Navigations loop through the town, meet at junctions and pass under roads and railways. There are so many waterways that Tipton has been called the Venice of the Midlands.
The canals were built to carry coal and iron during the Industrial Revolution, and their curving lines still run past former wharves and factory sites. Between them lie streets of terraced houses, post-war estates and newer housing on reclaimed industrial land. Railway lines add further straight cuts across the pattern.
Just beside Tipton is the Black Country Living Museum, where the region's industrial past is recreated beside a canal arm. A Tipton map poster shows the industrial Midlands in a very direct way: a network of water routes, dug by hand, still shaping the town two centuries later.

Terraced streets
Rows of houses fill the spaces between the waterways, giving the town a dense, regular texture typical of the Black Country.
Industrial traces
Former wharves, basins and rail lines are still visible in the street pattern. They record the coal and iron trade that built the town.

Tiptonを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Tipton suits people who grew up there, canal boaters who have cruised its locks, and anyone with a soft spot for industrial Britain. The canals give the map a structure that is unusual and instantly recognisable.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a family surname or a year. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint suits Tipton's engineering heritage.
