Tondi Map Poster & Print
Tondi is a coastal town in Ramanathapuram district in Tamil Nadu, facing the calm waters of Palk Bay. On a map it appears as a close group of streets pressed against the shoreline, with lanes running down toward the beach and flat, sandy country spreading inland.
The town is often identified with the ancient port of Tondi mentioned in early Tamil literature, part of a long history of trade across the bay. Today fishing remains central to local life, and the shoreline is lined with boats and landing areas.
A Tondi map poster sets the tight town grid against the long, gentle curve of the coast, with open sea filling one side of the frame. It is a simple map in the best sense, a place defined by the meeting of land and water.
