The Grand Canal
The canal cuts across the town in a smooth, deliberate curve, with the old harbour marked by a wider basin. It is the single strongest line on the map.

Tullamore Map Poster & Print
Tullamore is the county town of Offaly, in the flat centre of Ireland. Its street plan is shaped by two waterways: the Tullamore River, which passes through the town, and the Grand Canal, which sweeps past the centre on its way from Dublin to the Shannon. Between them sits a compact core of Georgian streets, a central square and terraces of shops.
The canal made Tullamore a busy trading town in the early nineteenth century, and the old harbour still shows on the map as a widened stretch of water. The town is also known for whiskey, as Tullamore D.E.W. takes its name from here. In 1785 a hot-air balloon crash set fire to houses in the town, an episode often described as one of the first aviation disasters.
A Tullamore map poster captures the way a Midlands market town grew outward: dense streets at the core, newer estates and a bypass beyond, and farmland and bog toward the horizon. The canal draws a long, confident line across the composition, giving the town a clear spine that reads well at every print size.

Georgian centre
Tullamore's older streets form a tight, mostly regular core around its central square. On paper the short blocks and narrow plots give the middle of the poster a fine, detailed grain.
Tullamore River
A small river runs through the town not far from the canal, and its looser, natural course contrasts with the engineered straightness of the waterway nearby.

Tullamoreを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Tullamore means a great deal to people who grew up in Offaly, studied or worked there, or left for somewhere far away. A map of the town is a quiet way to keep its canal walks, schools and familiar streets on the wall.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a family name or a wedding date, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 digital set includes six print sizes, each as a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF.
