Ursynów Map Poster & Print
Ursynów is a district in the south of Warsaw, and on the map it looks unlike the historic centre. Wide avenues frame large housing estates built mainly in the 1970s and 1980s. Blocks of flats stand in open, landscaped space, set out as deliberately arranged groups rather than along traditional street fronts.
The M1 metro line runs through the district and ends at Kabaty, next to Kabaty Forest, a large area of woodland on the southern edge. On the western side the ground drops at the Warsaw Escarpment, and the campus of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences occupies a spacious area in the north of the district.
