Villa Ángela is a town in the south-west of Chaco Province in northern Argentina. It sits on the wide, flat plain of the Gran Chaco, a region of farmland and scrub stretching to the horizon. Like many towns in the region, it grew in the twentieth century as a centre for agriculture and settlement, connected by road and rail.
