Wankyi Map Poster & Print
Wankyi, widely known as Wenchi, is a town in the Bono Region of west-central Ghana. It sits in the transition zone between the southern forest belt and the savanna of the north, and the surrounding landscape mixes patches of woodland with farms and open grassland. The town is a local centre for trade and administration in its district.
From above, Wankyi is shaped by the roads that meet there. The older centre, with its market and closely spaced buildings, gathers near the main junctions. Newer residential areas extend along the approach roads in a looser pattern of compounds and lanes. Around the edges, farm plots and footpaths form an irregular web that fades into the countryside.
A Wankyi map poster shows the town as a single, readable whole: its core, its spreading neighbourhoods and the routes connecting it to other towns in Bono. It is an understated image for people who grew up in the area, went to school there or keep family ties, and want to see the town’s outline on their wall.

Approach roads
Roads coming in from neighbouring towns serve as spines for newer growth, with homes and compounds lining them as the town extends outward.
Farm and woodland edge
Beyond the built area, farms, footpaths and remaining patches of woodland create a loose, organic texture that marks the shift from town to countryside.

Wankyiを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
A map of Wankyi carries more personal weight than a skyline photograph could. It marks where a family comes from, and it looks at home in a Kumasi apartment, an Accra office or a house overseas.
Choose the title yourself, for example Wenchi or Wankyi, add a subtitle and a date, and pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 HD download has no watermark and includes print-ready PDFs.
