Wujia is a small town in the far south of Guangxi, in the low, warm country not far from the Beibu Gulf. On a map it appears as a compact settlement where a few main roads cross, surrounded by a patchwork of fields, ponds and village clusters. The land here is mostly flat or gently rolling, so the pattern of roads and water spreads out evenly across the frame.
Like many rural towns in the region, Wujia has a small commercial center along its main streets, with newer buildings along the roads and older lanes behind them. Around it, farm tracks and irrigation channels form a fine, irregular network that links the town to the surrounding villages.
