Goulmima Map Poster & Print
Goulmima lies in the Drâa-Tafilalet region of south-eastern Morocco, in the valley of the Oued Gheris between Errachidia and Tinghir. From above, the town follows the green ribbon of the oasis, a band of palm groves and irrigated gardens that stands out sharply against the bare, stony land beyond. Newer streets extend along the main road, and older settlements cluster close to the cultivated land.
The oasis is known for its ksour, fortified villages built of rammed earth. The best known is the old Ksar of Goulmima, with its thick walls and narrow passages. The area has a strong Amazigh identity. Life in the valley has long been organised around sharing water through traditional irrigation channels.
A Goulmima map poster makes the logic of an oasis visible. The dense pattern of fields and channels follows the river, the compact ksour sit along its edge, and the modern town stretches out along the road. All of it is set against open desert that leaves generous empty space in the frame, which suits the pared-back style of the print.

Walled ksour
The traditional fortified villages sit at the edge of the cultivated land. On the poster they appear as tight, compact blocks with narrow lanes inside.
Road along the valley
The main road between Errachidia and Tinghir runs through Goulmima. Much of the newer town has grown along it in a straight, linear strip.
