Sayama Hills edge
Along the northern boundary the dense street pattern gives way to the wooded Sayama Hills, a soft dark mass that frames the town and sets it apart from the urban grid around it.

Musashimurayama Map Poster & Print
Musashimurayama sits in the Tama area of western Tokyo, where the metropolis thins into low houses, factories and farm plots. From above, the city is a fine, even mesh of residential lanes. To the north the texture changes sharply: the streets stop at the forested edge of the Sayama Hills, a band of green that closes off the map like a margin.
The city is often noted as one of the few in Tokyo with no railway station of its own. That absence shows clearly on a map. There is no station plaza pulling the streets inward and no track slicing the grid in two. Roads and bus routes carry the traffic instead, and the neighbourhoods spread out evenly rather than gathering around a single hub.
A Musashimurayama map poster keeps that quiet structure in view: the dense residential fabric, the arterial roads that stitch it to neighbouring Tachikawa and Higashiyamato, and the hills rising to the north. Printed in black and white, it looks like a woodcut of suburban Tokyo. It is modest and orderly, and it reads well from across a room.

A map without rails
With no railway line running through the city, the map shows no tracks and no station square, only roads, which is unusual for anywhere in the Tokyo area.
Fine residential mesh
Small lanes run between houses and garden plots in an even, repeating pattern. At poster scale it prints like fabric, fine and consistent from edge to edge.

ផែនទីដែលមានអត្ថន័យ
People who grew up in the Tama suburbs, or who spent years commuting from them, often recognise this map at a glance. It holds the streets of a place that was home, not a postcard version of Tokyo, and it sits calmly on a wall.
