Oas is a municipality in the western part of Albay province in the Bicol Region, on the Philippine island of Luzon. Its map is largely rural: a modest town centre gathered around the plaza and parish church, surrounded by a wide spread of rice paddies, coconut groves and low hills. Small barangay settlements dot the countryside, connected by narrow roads that follow the lie of the land.
The flat farmland around the town is divided into irregular paddies separated by dikes and irrigation ditches, which appear on the poster as a fine, uneven mesh.
