Paramathi Velur is the name used for the Paramathi and Velur area of Namakkal district, a stretch of Tamil Nadu shaped by the nearby Kaveri River and the farms it waters. The map is centred on the Paramathi side. What you see from above is a network of small settlements joined by roads across mostly level ground.
The line work is light and wide-spaced. Village streets gather around a few crossroads, and longer roads run across the countryside to connect them.
