Colonial grid core
The centre is a regular pattern of square blocks around Plaza de Nariño, a legacy of Spanish planning that reads as a tight, even mesh at the heart of the poster.

Pasto Map Poster & Print
Pasto sits in the Atriz valley high in the Colombian Andes, about 2,500 metres above sea level, and the map shows it plainly: a dense grid of blocks filling the valley floor, then thinning where the land begins to climb. The Pasto River threads through the city, and the outer neighbourhoods follow the contours of the surrounding hills rather than the straight lines of the centre.
To the west stands Galeras, one of Colombia's most active volcanoes, close enough that its lower slopes shape the edge of the street network. The historic centre keeps the Spanish pattern of square blocks around Plaza de Nariño, and churches mark many corners of that grid. On paper the contrast between the orderly core and the looser, hill-bound suburbs gives the city a clear, readable outline.
Pasto is best known for the Carnaval de Negros y Blancos, held each January and recognised by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage. It is also home to barniz de Pasto, a lacquer craft made from the resin of the mopa-mopa plant. A Pasto map poster reduces all of this to line and space, leaving the valley, the river and the grid to speak for the city.

Pasto River
A narrow river runs through the valley and across the city, drawing a thin, winding line that breaks the grid and follows the natural fall of the land.
Edge of Galeras
West of the centre, streets give way to the rising flank of Galeras volcano, and the density of the map fades into open ground where the city meets the mountain.

ផែនទីដែលមានអត្ថន័យ
For people from Pasto, the map is a quiet reminder of home: the barrio where they grew up, the plaza, the road out toward the mountains. For travellers who came for the carnival, it holds the shape of the streets they walked in January.
Each poster can carry a personal title, subtitle and coordinates line, so it might mark a birthplace, a wedding date or a first visit. Choose from five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and order a $9 digital file or a printed poster.
