The main road
A principal road runs through the town and gathers most of the commercial buildings along its length, forming the clear spine that every smaller lane on the map eventually returns to.

Puthencruz Map Poster & Print
Puthencruz lies in the Ernakulam district of Kerala, a short run inland from Kochi, in country that rises gently from the backwater plain toward the Western Ghats. From above, the town reads as a main road carrying most of the traffic, with smaller lanes peeling away on either side into a patchwork of houses, gardens, rubber and coconut groves. The pattern is loose and organic, shaped by low ridges rather than by any plan.
The town is best known as a centre of the Jacobite Syrian Christian community in Kerala. Church buildings and institutions sit within the same settled landscape of homesteads and small commercial strips, so on a map the religious and everyday layers blend into one continuous fabric. Water appears as ponds, paddy hollows and narrow streams following the valley floors rather than as a single dominant river.
A Puthencruz map poster turns this soft, semi-rural geometry into something graphic. Without the canopy of green, what remains is a web of curving lines that follow contours, meet at junctions and thin out into the countryside. It is a quiet composition, closer to a drawing of a landscape than a grid, and it rewards a closer look at how Kerala towns grow along roads and ridges.

Ridge-following lanes
Side roads curve with the low laterite ridges instead of running straight, producing a branching, leaf-vein pattern that is typical of the midland belt of central Kerala.
Valley paddies
Low, open patches between the built-up ridges mark wetter valley floors and small streams, giving the poster pale breathing spaces between clusters of streets.

ផែនទីដែលមានអត្ថន័យ
People hang a map of Puthencruz because it holds a family home, a parish or a childhood spent between Kochi and the hills. For many Keralites living abroad, a plain line drawing of these lanes says more than a photograph could.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can carry a family name, a wedding date or simply the town and district. Choose from five styles, Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as a $9 HD download or a printed poster with optional wooden frame.
