Plain and hills
The northern part of the map is flat and orderly, while the southern part breaks into curving roads that follow the contours of the first Apennine slopes, a clear shift within a few kilometres.

Zola Predosa Map Poster & Print
Zola Predosa lies just west of Bologna, where the flat land of the Po plain begins to lift into the hills. Its map has two distinct halves: a northern side of regular residential blocks, business districts and main roads, and a southern side where the streets thin out into winding lanes climbing toward vineyards and wooded slopes. The Lavino stream crosses the municipality, tracing a curving line from the hills toward the plain.
The town belongs to the Colli Bolognesi wine area, known for its Pignoletto, and its countryside holds a scattering of historic villas. The most striking is Palazzo Albergati, a large seventeenth-century residence standing among the fields, its long axial approach still readable from above. The railway toward Vignola and the old road running west from Bologna give the town its main east-west lines.
A Zola Predosa map poster works well because of this contrast. The dense grid of the suburban plain and the loose, organic tracery of hill roads sit side by side on the same sheet, making the transition from city to countryside unusually clear. It is a portrait of a place that belongs both to the metropolitan area of Bologna and to the agricultural hills beyond it.

Palazzo Albergati
This grand baroque villa sits apart from the town centre, and the straight lines of its grounds and approach stand out against the surrounding field boundaries.
The Lavino valley
The Lavino stream descends from the hills and crosses the municipality, its winding course adding a soft natural line between the rectilinear blocks of the plain.

ហេតុអ្វី Zola Predosa
ផែនទីដែលមានអត្ថន័យ
Zola Predosa suits anyone connected to the Bologna area who knows the edge of the city as well as its centre: residents, people who have worked in its business districts, or those who remember weekends among the vineyards. On the wall, its mix of grid and hill roads reads as quietly graphic.
