지도 소개
Reitz Map Poster & Print
Reitz is a farming town in the eastern Free State of South Africa, founded in 1889 and named after Francis William Reitz, then president of the Orange Free State. It lies on the high, open grassland of the highveld. Its map follows the pattern of many towns from that period: a rectangular grid of streets laid out in straight, even blocks.
The town serves a wide farming district known for maize, wheat and livestock. Beyond the last streets, the map opens into large farm blocks divided by straight gravel roads. Next to the original town lies the township of Petsana, home to much of the population, whose own network of streets adds a second, denser pattern to the composition.
A Reitz map poster shows a place defined by its surroundings as much as by its streets. The grid is small and clear, the roads leading away from it run straight toward the horizon, and the open land frames everything. It is a thoughtful piece for families with farming roots in the eastern Free State.

Petsana streets
The adjoining township has its own tightly packed network of smaller blocks, giving the map a second cluster of fine detail next to the older town.
Highveld farm roads
Long, straight rural roads lead out across the flat grassland, dividing the land into broad farm blocks that stretch to the edges of the frame.
