Contour-following streets
Instead of a rigid grid, streets curve with the slopes and meet at uneven angles, which gives the town centre an organic, hand-drawn look.

Alvinópolis Map Poster & Print
Alvinópolis is a small town in the interior of Minas Gerais, in south-eastern Brazil. Like many towns in the region, it sits among rolling hills. Its streets do not follow a strict grid. They trace the contours of the land, curving around slopes and meeting at irregular angles near the centre.
The countryside of Minas Gerais is a patchwork of pasture, woodland and farmland crossed by small rivers and winding roads. On the map, Alvinópolis appears as a compact cluster of streets set in that landscape. The rural roads that leave the town stretch out in long, looping lines.
An Alvinópolis map poster suits people who know the quieter side of Minas Gerais. The print shows a town shaped by its hills, with a dense core, streets bending with the terrain and a wide margin of country roads. Black and white linework brings out how the town and the landscape fit together.
