Ezeiza lies on the southwestern edge of Greater Buenos Aires, where the dense urban area begins to open out into the flat pampas. One enormous feature shapes the map: Ministro Pistarini International Airport, the main gateway to Argentina. Its runways, terminals and taxiways form a large geometric pattern beside the town.
