Ferreiros Map Poster & Print
Ferreiros is a small municipality in the Zona da Mata of northern Pernambuco, in northeastern Brazil, near the border with Paraíba. The region takes its name from the Atlantic forest that once covered it, and today it is dominated by sugarcane fields spreading across rolling hills and valleys. On a map, the town is a compact grid of streets set within this green landscape.
Like many towns in this part of Pernambuco, Ferreiros grew with the sugar economy, and its surroundings still show the long field boundaries and farm roads associated with cane cultivation. The streets of the town follow a straightforward pattern, typical of small inland towns in northeastern Brazil, with the built-up area ending quite abruptly where the fields begin.
A Ferreiros map poster presents a quiet, compact town surrounded by open countryside. The short main streets, the roads leaving toward neighbouring towns and the curving tracks through the hills combine into a simple, calm composition. It is well suited to anyone who grew up here or whose family still lives in the region.

Sugarcane landscape
Fields of sugarcane cover the surrounding hills, and their boundaries and access roads give the outer parts of the map a gentle, even texture.
Rolling terrain
Roads leaving town curve around the hills and valleys rather than running straight, adding soft, flowing lines to the edges of the composition.
