General Pico Map Poster & Print
General Pico lies in the northeast of La Pampa province, on the wide, flat grassland and farmland of the Argentine pampas. It was founded in the early twentieth century as the railways pushed across the plains, and it has since grown into the province's second-largest city.
Its map is a clear example of the Argentine planned town: a regular grid of square blocks, with the central plaza as the fixed point and avenues forming broader lines through the pattern. Railway tracks cross the city and shape its districts, and the grid stops cleanly where farmland begins.
Around the city, rural roads divide the land into large rectangles of crops and pasture, running almost to the horizon in every direction. A General Pico map poster shows that balance of town and countryside, a disciplined street grid laid down on open, level ground.

Railway lines
The tracks that founded the town still cross it diagonally or at an angle, cutting through the grid as the strongest single line.
Pampas fields
Beyond the last streets, large rectangular fields and straight rural roads stretch far across the flat plain.

Firwat General Pico
Eng Kaart, déi eppes bedeit
General Pico is a working farm town and a regional centre, and people who grew up here tend to carry its grid with them. The map makes a clean, understated reminder of the pampas for a home in Buenos Aires or abroad.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle such as a family name or anniversary and keep or edit the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint emphasises the precision of the grid.
