The Chitra River
The river runs along the town in a smooth curve, its banks lined with ghats and paths. It is the strongest line on the map and the town's natural axis.

Narail Map Poster & Print
Narail lies in Khulna Division in southwestern Bangladesh, on the banks of the Chitra River. From above, the town is low and horizontal. Streets gather near the riverbank, water is everywhere in the form of ponds, tanks and small canals, and the built area fades gradually into rice fields and village clusters on the delta.
The town is best known as the birthplace and home of the painter S. M. Sultan, one of the major figures of modern Bangladeshi art. His paintings of rural life drew directly on the landscape around Narail. A memorial and gallery on the Chitra keep his work and legacy present in the town.
A Narail map poster turns that delta setting into a quiet composition: the flowing line of the Chitra, the scattered shapes of ponds, and the narrow, uneven streets in between. There are no hard grids or large boulevards here. The map shows a place shaped by water and fields, which fits the art the town is known for.

Ponds and tanks
Dozens of small ponds dot the town and its surroundings, forming rectangles and irregular pools that give the map a delicate, dotted texture.
Delta fields
Beyond the edge of town, paddy fields and villages spread in fine patterns, typical of the flat, water-rich land of the Ganges delta.
