Terrain-led roads
Roads here rarely run straight for long. They bend with valleys and contour lines, which gives the map a flowing, almost hand-drawn quality.

Qingnian Map Poster & Print
Qingnian is a small locality within the vast municipality of Chongqing, in the hill country south of the city’s central districts. Flat land is scarce in this region, so settlements take shape around the few valley floors and gentle slopes available. From above, the built-up area follows the terrain closely, and its roads wrap around hillsides instead of crossing them head-on.
Like many places in the municipality, Qingnian is administratively part of Chongqing yet lies well outside the dense urban core, in countryside that feels far from the city’s high-rises. The landscape of southern Chongqing is typically one of folded ridges, small rivers and terraced farmland, with forest on the steeper ground. Roads reach neighbouring towns through winding valleys.
A Qingnian map poster turns that topography into a readable pattern: curving roads, a compact cluster of streets, and the fine lines of paths and waterways threading through the hills. It is a restrained, personal image rather than a famous skyline, and that is often exactly what people want from a map of home.

Compact centre
The main built-up area sits where the land allows, forming a small, dense knot of streets surrounded by much more open ground.
Hills and valleys
The folded relief of southern Chongqing surrounds the town, and small waterways and scattered settlements pick out the valley floors between the ridges.

Eng Kaart, déi eppes bedeit
Chongqing is enormous, and many of its residents trace their families to small towns in the surrounding hills. A map of Qingnian is a quiet way to keep that origin present in a city apartment or much further away.
Set your own title and subtitle, perhaps a family name or a year, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. HD files in six print sizes cost $9, with a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF for each.
