Theodosian Walls
The land walls of Constantinople form the district's eastern boundary. On the poster they appear as a long, continuous line with green belts beside them, one of Istanbul's most historic edges.

Zeytinburnu Map Poster & Print
Zeytinburnu lies on the European side of Istanbul, just outside the Theodosian Walls that once defined the edge of Constantinople. On a map the district forms a compact wedge between the walls to the east, the Sea of Marmara to the south and neighbouring districts to the north and west, with major roads cutting through. Its streets are closely packed, broken by a few larger green spaces.
The district grew rapidly in the twentieth century as migrants from across Turkey and the Balkans settled here, often in self-built housing, and the tanneries of Kazlıçeşme made it a centre of the leather trade. Along the shore, a coastal road and parks run beside the water, and the Marmaray commuter line follows the coast toward the historic peninsula.
A Zeytinburnu map poster shows a district defined by its edges. The line of the ancient walls runs along one side, the coastline curves along another, and the dense street pattern fills everything in between. In black and white, the district reads as a tightly woven patch of the city, shaped by both deep history and rapid modern growth.

Marmara coastline
To the south, the district meets the sea with a waterfront road, parks and walking paths. The coastline gives the map a smooth, open edge against the dense streets inland.
Kazlıçeşme
Once the centre of Istanbul's leather industry, this coastal area near the walls has been reshaped by new transport links and public space. It marks where the district's industrial past meets its present.
