Ar-Rawḍah lies in Damietta Governorate, in the northeastern corner of the Nile Delta, a short distance inland from the Mediterranean coast. The land here is almost perfectly flat, and seen from above it is divided by water. Irrigation canals and drainage channels cut the countryside into long strips, and the town grows along them, its streets packed tightly where the roads and waterways meet.

Delta towns rarely follow a planned grid. Instead, the street pattern tends to record older field lines and village paths, so blocks are narrow, angles are uneven, and lanes change direction without warning. Around the built-up core, the map opens into a fine web of farm tracks and canals. It is a landscape made almost entirely by people working with the river over a very long time.

An Ar-Rawḍah map poster turns that intricate pattern into a clear black-and-white drawing. The canals become thin continuous lines, the town a dense knot of streets, and the countryside a quiet field of parallel strokes. For families from the Damietta region, it shows a place that is easy to overlook on a national map but distinct at street scale.
