Azhoor Map Poster & Print
Azhoor lies in the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala, a short distance from the Arabian Sea coast. Like much of coastal Kerala, it is not a compact town but a spread of homes, lanes and small centres set among coconut palms and gardens, so the map shows a fine, meandering network rather than a clear grid.
Water is close at hand in every direction. The coast lies just to the west, and the backwaters and lagoons that run parallel to the shore in this part of Kerala bring inland channels and still water into the landscape. Paddy fields and low-lying wetlands fill the gaps between settled areas.
An Azhoor map poster shows this intimate, watery landscape: winding lanes, small roads that follow higher ground, and the calm shapes of backwater and sea at the edges. It is a gentle composition, more organic than urban, and in black and white the delicate lines of lanes and shorelines become quietly beautiful.

Backwaters
Lagoons and channels of Kerala's backwater system lie near the village, adding soft, still shapes of water that break up the pattern of lanes.
The coast
The Arabian Sea shoreline runs close to the west, a long, clean edge that gives the poster a strong boundary on one side.

Many families from Azhoor live and work in the Gulf or elsewhere in India, and a map of the village is a way to keep its lanes and waters close, whether at home or as a gift.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a house name or a date, and choose one of five styles. Blueprint highlights the backwaters, while Paper gives a soft, warm feeling.
