Benoy Map Poster & Print
Benoy is a town in Logone Occidental, in the relatively well-watered south of Chad. The country here is savanna, with fields, scattered trees and seasonal streams, and rainfall is much higher than in the north. On a map the town is a spread of residential blocks and yards, with roads connecting it to the rest of the region.
The street network is loose. Some straighter roads cross the town, and smaller lanes fill the spaces between them, following property lines and footpaths. The built-up area thins out gradually into farmland rather than ending at a hard edge. In a monochrome print, this makes a soft outline. The centre looks denser and the edges fade into the countryside.
A Benoy map poster is best suited to people with a personal link to the town: families from the area, teachers, health workers and others who have lived and worked there. It shows a place that is rarely mapped for decoration, with the same care given to any large city.

Loose residential grain
Between the main roads, lanes and yards form an informal, open pattern that gives the town a light, airy texture on paper.
Savanna fringe
The town fades gradually into fields and scattered trees, so its edges read as a soft transition rather than a hard boundary.
