Old village centre
Bothfeld's historic core is still visible as a small cluster of irregular streets. On the poster it stands out from the more regular residential grid around it.

Bothfeld Map Poster
Bothfeld is a district in the north-east of Hannover, and its map still shows the village it once was. The old core, with its church and a few curving streets, sits at the centre. Around it, later residential areas have filled in, with long quiet streets of houses and some larger housing blocks.
The district is mainly residential and has a calmer feel than central Hannover. On the map, green spaces, allotment gardens and open land appear between the streets, especially toward the edges of the district. Main roads and the Stadtbahn tram line connect Bothfeld with the city centre to the south-west.
A Bothfeld map poster captures a part of Hannover that locals know well but visitors rarely see. It shows a neighbourhood built outward from a village centre, with a street pattern that becomes more regular as it moves away from the old heart. Printed in black and white, those layers are easy to follow.

Residential streets
Long streets of family houses and smaller apartment buildings make up most of the district. They form an even pattern that gives the map a calm texture.
Green margins
Gardens, fields and open spaces lie around the edges of the district. They leave gaps in the street network and give the composition room to breathe.
