Cihuatlán Map Poster & Print
Cihuatlán lies at the southern tip of Jalisco on Mexico's Pacific coast, close to the border with Colima. The town itself sits a short way inland on flat land near the river that forms the state boundary. Its municipality reaches to the sea and includes the beach town of Barra de Navidad on its lagoon.
The surrounding area is part of the Costalegre, a stretch of Jalisco coastline known for quiet bays and beaches. Around Cihuatlán, the land is mostly lowland agriculture, including plantations and fields, and it opens toward the coast in one direction and hills in the other.
A Cihuatlán map poster can be framed tightly on the town grid or widened to take in the coast and lagoon. Either way, the combination of an orderly inland street pattern with the irregular shapes of water, river and shoreline makes a strong composition. In black and white, the edge between land and ocean becomes especially striking.

Town street grid
The centre of Cihuatlán follows a regular pattern of blocks. This orderly core contrasts with the looser forms of fields, water and coast around it.
Coast and lagoon
A wider framing reaches the Pacific and the lagoon at Barra de Navidad. The shoreline gives the poster an expressive edge against a blank field of ocean.
