Croydon Map Poster & Print
Croydon lies in South London, where the city starts to meet the Surrey hills. Its centre has a distinctive skyline of office blocks and residential towers, built mostly from the 1960s onward, and from above the town shows a dense core of large buildings surrounded by Victorian terraced streets.
East Croydon station is one of London's busiest rail hubs outside Zone 1, with fast connections to central London and Gatwick. The Tramlink network, opened in 2000, runs through the town centre in a loop, linking Croydon with Wimbledon, Beckenham and New Addington.
A Croydon map poster captures a town with its own identity within London. Croydon Airport, once London's main international airport before Heathrow, lies to the south-west, and its old terminal building still stands. Surrey Street market has operated in the town centre for centuries.
