Upper Lake Zurich
The Obersee shoreline forms a clean edge to the south, a broad expanse of water that frames the town and gives the poster its sense of openness.

Jona Map Poster & Print
Jona lies at the eastern end of Lake Zurich in the canton of St. Gallen, where the lake continues as the Obersee. Since 2007 it has formed a single municipality with neighbouring Rapperswil, and the map reads as one continuous settlement, stretching from the old lakeside town inland across gentle slopes and valleys.
The river Jona, which gives the town its name, runs through the centre on its way to the lake, its course traced by a thin line of green between streets and houses. Residential quarters spread over the rising ground, while fields, woods and small hamlets fill the eastern and northern parts of the municipality toward the hills.
A Jona map poster balances water and land. The lakeshore curves along one edge, the river draws a line through the town, and the street network grows looser toward the countryside. The result is a measured composition at a very Swiss scale, detailed near the centre and increasingly open toward the edges.

River Jona
The small river crosses the town toward the lake, a fine line through the built area that explains both the name and the shape of the valley.
Rolling edges
Toward the east and north the streets thin out into fields and woodland, leaving a soft, uneven border between town and the pre-Alpine landscape.

Jona is a map for residents, for people who grew up by the Obersee, or for anyone who has lived in Rapperswil-Jona and wants something more personal than a postcard. It sits comfortably in a calm, uncluttered room.
Choose a title and subtitle of your own, perhaps a neighbourhood or a wedding date, and set the coordinates line. Paper and Sand suit the lakeside softness, while Classic black & white, Noir and Blueprint give a crisper result.
