Kampung Setia lies in Selangor, northwest of Kuala Lumpur, on the outer edge of the Klang Valley's growing urban area. On the map, it appears as a mix of residential layouts: older village settlements with irregular lanes alongside newer housing estates with neat rows of terraced houses and curving roads. Between them, patches of greenery and plantation land remain, giving the area a looser pattern than central Kuala Lumpur.

The wider region has changed rapidly over recent decades, as new townships, highways and industrial areas have spread out from the capital. Places like Kampung Setia sit at the meeting point of that expansion and the older agricultural landscape of Selangor, where rubber and oil palm plantations once dominated the land.

A Kampung Setia map poster reflects this transitional character. Estate roads form tidy, repeating patterns, village lanes wander between them and green spaces break the built-up area into separate islands. In black and white, the contrast between the planned and the organic becomes the main design element, creating a composition that feels quietly contemporary and specific to modern Malaysia.
