Kisinga Map Poster & Print
Kisinga lies in western Uganda, only a few kilometres north of the equator, on the lowland of the Albertine Rift. The Rwenzori mountains rise to the north-west, and to the south the land opens toward the lakes and savanna of the rift floor. On a map, the town is a modest cluster of streets set within a wide pattern of fields and scattered homesteads.
The layout is simple and informal. A main road carries most of the traffic, and shorter tracks branch off it toward farms and villages. Buildings gather closely near the road junctions and trading centre, then thin out quickly. Streams coming down from the high ground cross the landscape, and their faint lines add the main natural feature to an otherwise gentle terrain.
A Kisinga map poster is best appreciated for its restraint. It has no dense grid or dramatic coastline, only the quiet spread of a rural town and its roads. Clean white space and a few strong lines in Classic black & white can be surprisingly elegant.

Main road spine
One principal road organises the settlement. Smaller tracks branch from it into the surrounding farmland like the ribs of a leaf.
Rift valley setting
Mountain country to the north-west and open lowland to the south surround the town. Even at a small scale, that gives the map a sense of place.
