Compact town grid
The urban core is a tight, orderly block pattern. At poster scale it reads almost like woven fabric set against the open land around it.

La Unión Map Poster & Print
La Unión lies in the lower valley of the Piura River in northern Peru, a stretch of irrigated farmland surrounded by dry coastal plain. On a map the town appears as a compact grid of blocks. Around it is a patchwork of fields and canals, and further out the land opens into desert.
The lower Piura valley has long depended on irrigation, and water decides where things can grow and where people settle. Farming shapes the local economy, and the town serves as a centre for the surrounding rural districts. Its streets are laid out in a regular pattern that is typical of the region's towns.
A La Unión map poster shows that close relationship between settlement and water. The dense town blocks sit in the middle, fields and irrigation lines spread around them, and past them the empty spaces of the desert begin. It is a quiet composition that says a lot about the landscape.

Irrigated valley
Canals and field boundaries surround the town, and they show how carefully water is shared out in this dry part of northern Peru.
Desert margins
Toward the edges of the map the farmland gives way to wide, empty ground. The contrast frames the town clearly and sharply.

For families from La Unión, or anyone who knows the Piura region, the map keeps a clear picture of home: the town blocks, the fields and the line where green turns to desert. Its restrained design works in any room.
You can personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a family name or a date, and edit the coordinates. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download print-ready PDF and PNG files or order a printed poster.
