Cane fields
Large cultivated plots cover much of the surrounding land. Their long straight edges create a broad, regular pattern that dominates the drawing.

Paraiso Map Poster & Print
Paraiso lies in northern Negros, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines. This is sugarcane country. From above, the land is divided into large fields separated by farm roads and hauling tracks. The settlement's houses and streets gather along the main roads that cross this landscape.
Negros has been one of the country's main sugar-producing islands for well over a century. The map reflects that history: long field boundaries, narrow roads leading to the cane fields, and small clusters of houses where people who work the land live. Rivers and creeks draw irregular lines towards the coast.
A Paraiso map poster shows a quiet agricultural place. The settlement lines the roads, the fields spread in broad rectangles, and the waterways cut gently across them. In black and white, the pattern looks spacious and orderly, more like a woven textile than a city plan.

Roadside settlement
Houses and short streets gather along the main roads rather than forming a dense grid. The settlement appears as thin bands of detail among the fields.
Creeks
Small rivers and creeks wind through the farmland towards the sea. They are the only curving lines in an otherwise straight-edged landscape.
