Pindaí Map Poster & Print
Pindaí lies in southwestern Bahia, in a semi-arid part of the sertão. The town is small and compact, with a modest grid of streets around a central square that quickly gives way to open country. On the map, the built-up area is a tight cluster in the middle of a much larger landscape of fields, scrubland and rural tracks.
The municipality lies in the same region as the larger towns of Guanambi and Caetité, an area known for farming and livestock and, more recently, for wind farms on the high ground. The rhythm of the dry and rainy seasons shapes daily life. It also shapes the land, which is dotted with seasonal streams and small reservoirs.
A Pindaí map poster is intimate by nature. Each block of the town is clearly drawn, and the surrounding roads spread outward like thin lines on a sketch. It is a portrait of a small community set against a wide, open landscape rather than a dense city, and the empty space around the town is part of its character.

Rural tracks
Unpaved roads leave town in several directions toward farms and neighbouring communities, drawing thin, meandering lines across the open land.
Seasonal waters
Small reservoirs and seasonal streams appear across the surrounding terrain. In this semi-arid climate, water shapes both farming and where people settle.
